Why the Family?

Pray for our troops... Another 10,000 servicemen deployed....  3 marines killed in action , 14 injured.

What if the head lines read:

Pray for my son.....10,000 American sons & daughters husband  gave the ultimate sacrifice....

               LET THAT RESIGNATE

Feel a little more personal? That's what we hear as military family members!

As parents and family members serving on the home front, the journey often times leaves us feeling isolated. We don't wear a uniform, live on base, or belong to   the  communication network of the US military.

Our duty to these families serving at home is near and dear to our hearts. Founded by a military mom, along with a large network of military family volunteers, these families are the root of our organization. Many needs have arisen over the years, each one unique in it's own way. AAS strives to serve these families in any way we can. Our Support includes:

  • Coining Ceremony

  • Homecomings

  • Connecting Families with Families

  • Emergency readiness services

  • Various support groups

We are always willing to assist in any and all ways possible within our means!

Adopt a Soldier feels strongly that our Military deserves not only our respect but our support. We at AAS strive to support our troops in anyway possible, enabling them to focus on their mission at hand, protecting and serving the United States of America. Our assistance is ever changing to accommodate our soldiers needs. Adopt a Soldier offers a wide variety of support including the following:

  • Care Packages

  • Cards

  • Emergency aid, including but not limited to:

    1. Transportation

    2. Contact and aid with Red Cross and Soldiers Family in time of need

    3. Financial Loan/grant

    4. Support of Military family during their absence.

Adopt a Soldier attempts to attack any issue our adopted military member faces. We, as a family, have given aid to our Soldiers in ways we never thought would be necessary. AAS is always dedicated to finding a way to be there, supporting the heroes that give so much to us! If we can't do it alone..... We'll find others to help get it done!

Our Veterans are facing a struggling VA system today in America. Adopt a Soldier strives to fill in the gaps by aiding our Veterans in the ever-changing world we live in. Some of the ways AAS provides assistance are:

  • Connecting with various VA assistance groups

  • Transportation to Dr. appointments

  • Financial  assistance in the form of a loan/grant

  • Connection  with other Veterans

  • Guidance in Honor flight application along with transportation for hero and family

  • Attend Welcome Home for Honor Flight

  • Support for Homeless Veterans

  • Personal support where needed in areas of transition, family struggles

Our goal is to help in any areas that our Veteran requires guidance. If we don't have the resources, we will try our best to find somewhere that does. Our network grows every year with the help of donations that enable us to go further beyond the YELLOW RIBBON.

Adopt a Soldier is proud to say that we will make every attempt to help our Veterans achieve the civilian life they deserve as warriors of our great Nation.
